Jewish Heritage Tour (6 Days)

Day 1 - Istanbul
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. In the early evening your Tour Director will host a welcome briefing and orient you to your surroundings. The remainder of the evening is free to enjoy dinner on your own. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 - Istanbul (B)
Full Day Istanbul Jewish Relics Tour:
After meet with your guide, visit to The Galata Tower, in the Galata Region where, you will enjoy magnificent view of Istanbul. The Bosphorus, The Marmara Sea and the Golden Horn. Galata tower was the center of the old Jewish community. Then we continue to visit Jewish Museum ( Monday to Thursday between 10:00am to 16:00pm) in Karakoy street, just near old Tunnel where you can see the Ottoman and Turkish tolerance to the Jewish communnity in Turkey and it is also a unique and only one museum one of the Muslim country in the world.Then visit the Neve Shalom Synagogue or the Askenazy Synagogue. After having lunch, we drive to Balat where we will visit to Star of David, appears on the facade of some of the buildings in the area and during the tour we will continue to visit Ahrida Synagogue which was built in 1412. After tour transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3 - Istanbul (B)   
Full Day Istanbul Old City Tour:
Pick up from your hotel to visit Topkapi Palace, with royal treasury and elegant four courts. After lunch, proceed to the Hagia Sophia, a great Byzantine architectural masterpiece, whose interior is resplendent with golden mosaics. Then admire the delicate design and Iznik tiles of the Blue Mosque. Explore the ancient Roman Hippodrome with Egyptian Obelisk and Serpentine Column. Finally, stop off at the dazzling Grand Bazaar with over 4000 shops. Drop off to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.



Day 4 - Izmir (B)
Half Day Bosphorus Cruise & Flight to Izmir:
Check out from your hotel in the morning. Visit the Egyptian Bazaar known as Spice Market to taste the hundreds of lively colored spices; before embark on a ferry to start your cruise on the Bosphorus Strait, while sailing along the European and Asian shores enjoy viewing Ottoman Palaces, Fortresses, Ottoman wooden houses and Suspension bridges. After this lovely cruise, possibility of lunch in a restaurant along the Bosphorus. After lunch, take a flight to Izmir known in ancient times as Smyrna and has a 400-year-old Jewish community. Arrive in Izmir and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Izmir.

Day 5 - Izmir / Smyrna / Sardis (B)
Full Day Smyrna & Sardis Tour:
After breakfast you will visit Beth Israel Synagogue which dating from 220 B.C.It is abundant in synagogues, of which you will visit the most important one this morning.Then drive on to Sardis, the ancient capital of Lydia. Here you will visit the remains of one of the world's oldest synagogue's, the Sardis Synagogue, first built in the 3rd century BC. After tour return to Izmir and enjoy wonderful Kordon offers the bests of the Aegean. Overnight in Izmir.

Day 6 - Ephesus (B)
Full Day Ephesus Tour:
After breakfast we will have a full day to explore Ephesus, one of the best-preserved cities of antiquity. It is the site of the temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You will stroll the marble road past the Roman terrace houses, the Library of Celsus and the bath to the theater where Greek and Roman drama was performed and classical concerts still take place today. Inside the Ephesus Museum you'll find many of the most famous relics of the ongoing excavations protected from the elements. After tour return to your hotel. Overnight in Izmir.

Day 7 - Istanbul (B)
Transfer to Izmir airport, flight back to Istanbul and end of service.
