Istanbul & Cappadocia Tour (6 Days)

Day 1 - Istanbul
Transfer from the Istanbul airport to your hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 - Istanbul (B, L)
Full Day Old City & Asian Istanbul Tour:
We will leave hotel in the morning to visit the spectacular Blue Mosque decorated with beautiful 17th century Iznik tiles. Then stroll around the historical Hippodrome where chariot races were once held. Continue with the Hagia Sophia, an early Christian church, later converted to a mosque under Ottoman rule. This magnificent temple now serving as a museum with all the artifacts from the Byzantine era intact & is especially famous for its mosaics. After lunch break, we continue driving across the first Bosphorus Bridge & head for the summit of Camlica Hill, which offers 360° panoramic views of Istanbul overlooking the Sea of Marmara. Driving back to Europe over the Bosphorus Bridge, we visit Dolmabahce Palace, with more than 340 rooms & eight Turkish Baths the imperial residence of the last six Sultans, is sure to fascinate its visitors. Overnight in Istanbul.
 


Day 3 - Istanbul (B, L)
Full Day Bosphorus Cruise & Topkapi Palace Tour:
Breakfast at hotel, then meet your guide at hotel lobby for a short drive to Spice Market, Egyptian Bazaar heaped with various sweets & spices is one of the world’s largest spice bazaars since 1665. Soon after, we embark on the Bosphorus ferry for an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, the beautiful strait that divides Europe from Asia. Winding between green hills, it is lined with mosques, castles, 19th century mansions, picturesque villages & the extravagant baroque palaces of the late Ottoman Sultans. After lunch break, we will Topkapi Palace Museum, the residence of the legendary Ottoman Sultans. It consists of several exhibition halls, such as the treasury, the porcelain section, armory, holy relics. We will complete this historical day with a visit to the Grand Bazaar (Kapalicarsi). Return to hotel with evening at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul.
 


Day 4 - Istanbul / Cappadocia (B, L)
Full Day North Cappadocia Tour:
Early check out & transfer to Istanbul Airport for 06:30 Cappadocia flight arriving at 07:50 to Kayseri Airport.  On your arrival to Kayseri, you will be met and transferred to Cappadocia. In the morning section of the tour, you will visit Three Beauties, Urgup Town, Red Valley (Panorama) & also join for a trekking at Kiliclar Valley which will take around 1hr 30mins. After lunch break at local restaurant, your day tour will continue with the visits of Avanos Village & Old Streets, Kizilirmak River, join a Discovery Series “Art of Pottery in Asia Minor” event , Devrent Valley, Pasabag Valley, Goreme Open Air Museum. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel and tonight will offer you the unique opportunity to sleep in a traditional Cappadocian cave hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 5 - Cappadocia / Istanbul (B, L)
Full Day South Cappadocia Tour:
On your second day in Cappadocia region, you will visit Mustafa Pasa Village, Kaymakli Underground City, Ortahisar Castle & Village, Piegon Valley, Uchisar Castle, Esentepe View Point & Goreme Village. Lunch will be served at local restaurant at Ortahisar Village. On this days Discovery Series you will join “Art of Turkish Carpets” event at the end of the tour. After the tour, you will be transferred to Kayseri Airport for your return flight to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival. Overnight Istanbul.

Day 6 - Istanbul / Departure (B)
Check-out and transfer to Istanbul Airport as per your onward flight schedule.
