DAY 01 : Athens to Kalambaka
Meet in the hotel lobby to join on the tour. Then transfer from Athens to renowned Delphi. Here you will have one and a half hours free at leisure to stroll in the picturesque village and enjoy the breathtaking scenery from the slopes of Mount Parnassus. (Note: visits to Archaeological Site and Museum in Delphi are not included in this tour). Then depart for Kalambaka, passing small villages & towns of central Greece. Overnight in Kalambaka.
DAY 02 : Tour the Meteora Monasteries
Visit Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with the ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical & religious treasures, standing between Earth and Sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae making a stop enroute to visit the Leonida's Monument. Arrival back in Athens early evening around 18:30-19:00.
-Accommodation in Athens is not included before of at the end of this tour, optional extra.
-For visit of the Monastery ladies need to wear a skirt, gentlemen long trousers.
